My pk ripper is stamped PK0137.....and the brake cable posts are on the bottom bar.....anybody know what year it is......I would like to know

This is a common question. I looked into this myself with SE a few years ago. The former SE under Mike Devitt did not keep or maintain a serial number list that was passed on to Advanced Sports (who purchased SE around 2002). Back then, SE used random serial numbers.The best bet is to try and trace the history of the bike (if possible). Also, check out this site and others such as BMX Museum to compare photos. Pay attention to seat tube decals to get an idea of age range. Good luck!
